Sponges are exceptional for blending. Use sponges with gel, liquid, powder and cream formulas. When choosing a sponge it is best to purchase a wedge and oval sponge. Wedges work well in the akward eye and nose angles and ovals create a complete flawless coverage.Choose the most dense foundation sponge that you can afford; the more dense the sponge, the better the blend into your skin. Inexpensive sponges will absorb your foundation. Wet the sponge before application for a sheer finish or leave dry for better coverage. Be sure to wash your sponges twice a week in hot water with a drop of antibacterial soap. Replace every one to two months.
